We prescribe Chinese Medicine patient formulas in the form of granules (as opposed to raw herbs). These granules are extracted from the raw herbs to create a very concentrated extract (1g of granule is equivalent to at least 5g of raw herbs) which easily dissolves in water so you do not need to boil or prepare the herbs yourself making them much more convenient.
